"The First Pinky-Promise of Love" - AP Art Concentration Portfolio

This piece is the ninth of 12 to be viewed in this portfolio. It is 7.5" x 4.5" and was created using watercolor pencils. In this piece, I wanted to capture the heartwarming moment of two people starting to fall in love. So, I chose the cliche first-date at a movie theater and used warm colors to capture this sweet feeling.

Portfolio Summary:
Humans. Every single one of them lives a beautiful, painful life, yet there are always these moments in our lives that can connect us to one another. For instance, everyone can remember a moment when someone embarrassed them as a kid. We all know what that feels like, how one wants to hide their burning red cheeks and run away. It is moments like these - ones of intense, unfiltered, and paradoxically personal and universal human emotion - that I try to capture in my Concentration Portfolio.
