"Touch of Avalanche" - AP Art Concentration Portfolio

This piece is the eighth piece of 12 to be viewed in this portfolio. It is a huge 24" x 18" and was created using watercolor pencils. In this piece, I wanted to capture what it feels like when another person, perhaps your crush, touches you. Inside, it's an avalanche of questions and nervous, happy feelings. But on the outside, you usually must appear unfazed and somehow respond to the person normally. It's a very exhilarating and nerve-wracking human experience.

Portfolio Summary:
Humans. Every single one of them lives a beautiful, painful life, yet there are always these moments in our lives that can connect us to one another. For instance, everyone can remember a moment when someone embarrassed them as a kid. We all know what that feels like, how one wants to hide their burning red cheeks and run away. It is moments like these - ones of intense, unfiltered, and paradoxically personal and universal human emotion - that I try to capture in my Concentration Portfolio.
