This piece is the fifth piece of 12 to be viewed in this portfolio. It is 6" x 9" and was created using watercolor pencils. With this piece, I wished to capture that moment when you realize everyone is mortal and that your time is running out. It's a very scary realization, yet humans accept this and actually live their life more completely because of it.
Also, just a fun fact about this piece, I was originally planned to show life through the clock's point of view.
Portfolio Summary:
Humans. Every single one of them lives a beautiful, painful life, yet there are always these moments in our lives that can connect us to one another. For instance, everyone can remember a moment when someone embarrassed them as a kid. We all know what that feels like, how one wants to hide their burning red cheeks and run away. It is moments like these - ones of intense, unfiltered, and paradoxically personal and universal human emotion - that I try to capture in my Concentration Portfolio.
