This piece is the eleventh piece of 12 to be viewed in this portfolio. It is 6" x 9" and was created using watercolor pencils. In this piece, I wanted to capture that moment when you're a kid and you don't have to worry about much, because your parents or family is looking out for you. It's a very safe, happy, familiar, loving, caring, and just altogether wonderful feeling.
Portfolio Summary:
Humans. Every single one of them lives a beautiful, painful life, yet there are always these moments in our lives that can connect us to one another. For instance, everyone can remember a moment when someone embarrassed them as a kid. We all know what that feels like, how one wants to hide their burning red cheeks and run away. It is moments like these - ones of intense, unfiltered, and paradoxically personal and universal human emotion - that I try to capture in my Concentration Portfolio.
