James Bond - Slab Bowl

As a much-hinted-at gift, I made this bowl as a present for my stepfather. He's a huge fan of James Bond and since the previous bowl I made him for his keys broke, this present was well-received. I chose to paint the inside design based on the music-homage/beginning scene in every movie where Bond is seen through the barrel of another spy's gun and suddenly turns and shoots the guy. And the outside design is one that happens right after Bond shoots, where the TV screen drips blood until the screen is filled red and then the movie truly begins.

I used the slab bowl method of making this bowl and glazed it with low-fire glazes. It has a 2.375" height, 0.25" wall thickness, and a diameter of 6" across the top.
