"Dragon of Trompe L'oeil"

Why is this dragon geometric? Why doesn't it have a shadow? Well, that's because it's a Trompe L'oeil, a type of illusion that tricks one into seeing things in a 3D way.
This dragon is merely part of the tile of the concrete sidewalk. But by formatting it to be seen from above, one gets the impression that it's running/flying right past that mother and child. Needless to say, it was really fun to create and paint this illusion, especially because I'm not a dragon used to seeing things from above.
