"Low Self-Efficacy Silences All" - AP Art Concentration Portfolio

This piece is the second piece of 12 to be viewed in this portfolio. It is 9" x 6" and was created using ink. I was inspired to create this piece during a few months where my ears couldn't hear very well and I thought of how similar this scenario is to those who struggle with mental health. Specifically, how one is unable to hear the amazing things people say about them, because they are unable to believe it.

Portfolio Summary:
Humans. Every single one of them lives a beautiful, painful life, yet there are always these moments in our lives that can connect us to one another. For instance, everyone can remember a moment when someone embarrassed them as a kid. We all know what that feels like, how one wants to hide their burning red cheeks and run away. It is moments like these - ones of intense, unfiltered, and paradoxically personal and universal human emotion - that I try to capture in my Concentration Portfolio.
