I worked on this piece everyday for 3 weeks back in December 2019, making it probably the longest project I've worked on consecutively. It all started because one of my friends had never seen Lord of the Rings (how scandalous!) and somehow I happened upon the DVDs of it while thrift-shopping. It was a great gift for them and I highly recommend gifting it to yourself during these long days of quarantine/self-isolation.
As a 3-D Box, this piece measures to be 7.5" in height, 2.375" in width, and 5.75" in length. As individual acrylic paintings, however, the right and left panels are 5.75" by 7.5", the front tab is 2.375" by 3", and the back panel is 2.375" by 7.5". The box was made of cardboard and hot glue, while the paintings themselves were made on paperboard with acrylic paints.
